100% Pre-Shipment Inspection

Quality Checks for Every Pair and Every Bag

Our 20-person QC team reviews materials, construction, finished products and packaging. Footwear follows seven checkpoints across the four stages below; bag projects use an agreed checklist for materials, stitching, hardware, closures and finishing.

Leather material selection and inspection tools
FOOTWEAR CHECKPOINT 01

Materials & Components

Review leather, textiles, soles and hardware against the agreed specifications. For bags, include lining, trims, color consistency and visible surface defects.

Cutting and heel stability check with ruler measurement
FOOTWEAR CHECKPOINTS 02–03

Cutting & Structural Details

Check cut pieces and heel attachment for footwear. For bags, agree checks for panel dimensions, handle and strap attachment, and reinforcement at stress points.

Upper and bottom construction quality inspection
FOOTWEAR CHECKPOINTS 04–05

Construction & Assembly

Review upper stitching, sole attachment and finishing on footwear. Include seam quality, edge finishing, lining, zippers and hardware operation in the bag checklist.

Finished product evaluation and packaging integrity check
FOOTWEAR CHECKPOINTS 06–07

Finished Product & Packaging

Compare finished items with the approved sample and agreed criteria. Confirm branding, labels, quantities, protective packing and carton details before shipment.

Define full inspection and sampled tests

The 100% pre-shipment inspection commitment covers each finished item against agreed visual, workmanship and packaging criteria. Fit, wear, durability and laboratory tests have separate sampling requirements; agree their scope and methods before production.

Agree how issues are closed

Before placing the order, confirm defect criteria, how flagged items will be corrected and reinspected, and the records required for shipment approval. Use the approved physical sample and written specifications as the shared reference.

Who Signs Off On Your Order

Quality Control Is a Department, Not a Checkbox

Inspection results are only as reliable as the team behind them. Our Quality Control Director oversees a 20-person team dedicated exclusively to inspection — independent from the production line — and reports directly on every batch before it is released for shipment.

FAQ

Factory Verification & Product Development FAQ

Review the factory, protect your design, and confirm materials and samples before committing to bulk production.

Can I visit the XINZIRAIN / Herrains factory in person?

Yes. International designers and brand owners are welcome to visit our Chengdu facility by appointment. Review the production workshop, sample room and quality-control process with our team, and bring your questions about materials, construction and order requirements. Share your product category and development stage in advance so the visit focuses on your project.

What if I cannot travel to China before my first order?

We support live video factory tours and photo or video updates at agreed production checkpoints. You can review the workshop, discuss samples and examine key details remotely. Tell us which materials, workmanship details and inspection records you want to see before the call, so our team can prepare a focused review.

Can you sign an NDA, and how is my intellectual property protected?

NDA protection is available before you share confidential sketches, Tech Packs or unreleased collection details. Agree in writing on permitted use, access and onward disclosure, together with ownership and delivery of project-specific CAD files and patterns. Any exclusivity or permission to publish project images should also be expressly covered in the agreement before development begins.

Can you support REACH compliance for shoes and bags sold in the EU?

We support material selection for EU-bound collections, with review against applicable REACH restrictions. Ask for available supplier declarations and test reports relevant to your leather, textiles, coatings and hardware. Agree any additional testing, laboratory, costs and timing before production. Report coverage must match the selected materials and components; it does not automatically cover every product or future order.

Can I review CAD designs or 3D prototypes before physical sampling?

For suitable footwear projects, CAD and 3D modeling or printed prototypes help review shape, proportions and selected components before physical sampling. Our team confirms which approach fits your design and agrees the scope, cost and deliverables first. Fit, comfort, material feel and construction still need approval through physical samples. Explore our sample development process.

How do we confirm the design before bulk production?

The approved physical sample and agreed specification sheet provide the reference for bulk production. Confirm materials, colors, dimensions, branding and construction details, and record revisions and acceptance criteria in writing. This gives production and QC a shared reference. Any later changes to materials or construction should be reviewed and approved before they are used in your order.

Who inspects my order, and at what stage?

Our dedicated 20-person QC team checks materials, construction, finished products and packaging. For footwear, the seven checkpoints cover material selection, cutting, heel stability, upper construction, bottom construction, finished products and packaging. For bag projects, agree checks for stitching, hardware, closures and other design-specific details before production. Confirm the criteria for checks on every finished item and the sampling requirements for performance or laboratory tests in your inspection plan.

What inspection records can I request for my buyers?

Batch-level QC records and photo or video updates can be prepared as part of your agreed production package. Confirm the reporting format, checkpoints and any buyer-specific requirements before placing the order. Internal factory QC records and independent laboratory test reports serve different purposes; request the documents relevant to your buyer's checks and confirm their availability.

How do I arrange a factory review or confidential project discussion?

Use our contact form and mention “factory review.” Share your product category, target market, development stage and preferred visit format, dates and time zone. If the project is confidential, start with a general brief and request an NDA before sending detailed files. Our team will confirm the review scope and availability of the records you request.
